I bought the 2 pack last time. These work great. I’m drinking a log of fruit! I am getting 5-6 uses before a recharge is needed. May buy more for gifts. Great buy meh!
Nearly 5 million of these were recalled due to fire and laceration risks and the company went under as a result. Have to assume there are not in the impacted serial numbers, but maybe check your unit if you get one.
@baus7 Thanks for the heads up. I bought 2 last time, and 5 more this time for gifts. If these are in the recall, I’ll give them to people I don’t like.
We just brought ours on vacation to make smoothies for breakfast. Worked like a charm and small enough to pack easily. It’s not something we’re using as a regular blender but it’s great for on the go.
“Spins 275 times per second”, eh?? Could that be a way of claiming a no-load speed of 16,500 rpm without saying “up to”? Plausible, and probably inaccurate as hell under load - with variable results being likely due to differences in type and amount of material being blended. Tequila and lime juice would probably slow it by a third or so, while a lightly chopped iPhone 17 would probably bring it to zero due to the small blender jar.
I got 4 of these to give out as gifts. I must have got a dud because mine won’t chop ice and never lasts a full charge for one smoothie. I have to recharge it every use once or twice. (Didn’t check the other 3 I gave away)
@braveit1 That is what happened with mine. Would barely make one smoothie before dying, and would stop every 5-10 seconds. In hindsight I probably should have asked for an exchange, but at the time I just thought they were crappy blenders in general.
@braveit1@PooltoyWolf The 2 I bought last time worked great. Only chopped ice a couple of times, but I had liquid in it and it did ok. Just bought 5 more for gifts. I’d say my likelihood of getting a dud just increased.
I got one of these in an IRK or some other mystery box from somewhere (maybe side deal?) a while back. I think it came in a box with some paint, a beanie for someone with a small head, and an odd-sized pillow. Anyway, my review is…
It’s fine. I used it once and it now lives in my cabinet.
@caalsio@troy when were these manufactured? Since there was a recall for the following: BlendJet 2 units subject to this safety recall were distributed from approximately October 2020 through November 2023.
Got them last time. Like them. (Note: Not starting? The arrows on the clear portion and the base HAVE to line up.) My serial numbers were way above the affected range recall range.
The SN checking site but down but this is what AI says: If your serial number’s first 4 digits are between 5201 and 5542, your blender may be recalled. If your serial number starts with 5543 or higher, you are NOT affected.
I order when they first came out. They hey did send me a replacement part . The part was for safety purposes. Yes I still use mine and ordered a new color.
I’d skip these. I picked one up the last time they were available and it was dead right out of the box: wouldn’t keep a charge or even start.
Even if it did work, I read numerous reports of it not being able to handle even a single ice cube and even struggling with some of its own included recipes.
These blenders were on voluntary recall & the company’s website doesn’t even work for said recall. Their social media has been inactive for over a year.

Is today’s clicky face a #bananaforscale?
@heartny Looks like the button image builder has a halftrack mind.

@baus7 It looks like they’re still around; here’s the link to their page with the recall checker:

@braveit1 also had a crappy dud and assumed they all were

Is this one or two? The Product line says “2 pack” but the itemization says “1x Blendjet-2” which sounds like model # not count.
@bwiderski It’s a single pack – the “2-pack” was derived from a prior offer we cloned in. Fixed now!
These are absolute trash.
Blendjet is cool, but I’m waiting for the Blendet. It can make a margarita and lower your toilet paper expenses.
@Limewater Hopefully not at the same time, ewww…
Spec post still says 2-pack:
@caalsio Fixed. Thank you!

finally. something to make me my margaritas.

Bought a 2 pack last time I use one solely for eggs and one for protein shakes. Love these so far
I just sent an email to Support, but I hope I’m not the only one who misses the meh Twitter feed and hopes they bring it back soon.
