I went to bed on time and tired. Fell asleep after checking meh. Woke up at 4am (normally 7am). Could not go back to sleep. Got up at 5, showered and went to work way early. On the plus side, I got a ton done today.
This will sound crazy, but I read about it in a Newspaper. Yes a Newspaper back in the 80’s… Google Relax your Tongue. It makes sense when you read it… It works, for me anyway, and I almost feel like I have used it to self hypnotize myself, as as soon as I think to do it, I seem to fall asleep. GL, Free, Non Medicated Good Sleep advice. Helps you relax and fall asleep
Partially, yes. My seven hours of uninterrupted sleep has been a bit messed up lately. I’m a freelance vocalist and do online sessions, so I sometimes wonder if my brain just stays switched on for too long afterward.
Slept like I always do. Fell asleep immediately, got hot part way through the night so threw off the covers/sheets, up to the bathroom once. Got out of bed 7 hours later.
I’m very vigilant. I have a hard time convincing myself that I’m not a security guard on duty 24/7. It might be from a long and sometimes dangerous military career. I’m missing out on the REM sleep that restores and resets.
I never turn on lights at night except for a red light next to bed. I take sleeping meds at 8 PM, and 400mg of magnesium glycinate at 10 PM. That makes it so I’m asleep before midnight and wake up before 7 AM.
If I change the order or time, or skip any of those steps, I end up falling asleep by like 5-ish AM

I usually have no trouble initially falling asleep - I’m usually out within 10-15 minutes. However, I often wake up 3 or 4 hours later and then have a hard time going back to sleep. Sometimes sleep aids help, sometimes not. Very frustrating…
@chienfou@macromeh one of the meds I take actually helps for that, cause yeah I’d wake up at 2 AM and manage to fall back asleep until ~4 AM. It was prescribed for anxiety, but I noticed if I take it at night (along with the magnesium), it keeps me asleep through the entire night.
My cr@ckhead cat kept me up
My craziness kept me up a little.
but not too bad
Cool room, warm blanket, and the cats respected their side of the bed for once. Not a bad night.
took a night off drinking and still stayed up too late
Sleep tracks! Prime has a black screen gentle midnight rain that’s great or the “Abience” app through the sound bar with rain and pink noise.
@DavidChurchRN thunderstorms by sleepjar on Spotify is my nighttime jam.
If I told you… You would be VERY Pissed… @33% would.

Couldn’t sleep.
My sheets maxed out at 1050 threadcount. And the FEEL was even less.
Worried about waking up the next day.

“I’m waiting for her head to spin around”
This is still one of my all-time favorite lines from a movie!
Expensive mattress, 800 tc cotton sheets, cool room, warm spouse. Great combination for a good night
I slept like a baby, woke up and screamed every 30 minutes.
I slept well but likely because I slept terribly the night before. I was exhausted last night.
My secret seems to be staying awake much of the previous night. Do not recommend.

I slept very well as I do when I sleep in a reclining chair.
6 solid hours on sleep number
“1200 thread count feel?” So…… not actual thread count?
Nope - my brain decided it was (once again) time to review, in detail, the low lights of my life so far.

That’s a resounding negative, ghost rider.
Window A/C set to 65 = cold bedroom, white noise. + limited fluids after 8 PM = got up once around 2 AM, otherwise solid sleep.
