@Star2236 Had to do a little digging but Photoshare is manufactured by Simply Smart Home. Although the Gallery Frame is their newest line and listed on their website at $109.99, it’s out of stock.

Amazon lists an 8” version under the name of Simply Smart Home but that’s also out of stock. Amazon has a link to the Simply Smart Home store and the Photoshare products are there but nothing is available for sale.

@djslack I must correct the missed opportunity to wonder if there has to be a separate adapter for Switzerland because it contains an extra neutral.

@djslack Swap the adapters for a micro usb cable and JVC gumy earbuds and mine is the same. I have two screen printing kits too, looks like there is paint in there. I do like paint.

@sammydog01 I’m putting on an event in a few months that I need to make aprons for so it would be really awesome if the screen printing kits are worth a damn. Fingers crossed!

@cbilyak @djslack @sammydog01 So did I. I think all of us ink for irk folks seem to be getting the same ones since they likely are pulling all of ours at once.

@cbilyak @djslack @Kidsandliz I also got the same as @sammydog01; they do seem to be giving Inksters all the same stuff these days. The silkscreening kit seems awfully minimal - just the 3 screens, some iron-on stencils, and 2 tubes of ink.

@djslack @sammydog01 remember someone holds the swap meets here. You get you chance to send those things to another person! Hehehe

@djslack @mycya4me @sammydog01 They’d probably try to sell it. We have a cool thing here - it’s a crafts & art supplies thrift store called Art Parts & they take & sell donations of all kinds of crafty things - fabric, scrapbook supplies, containers, etc. My kit might end up there.

@Star2236 It’s the world’s smallest pair of lounge pants or pajama bottoms. The white bits are the leg cuffs, and at the bottom is the drawstring for the waist. I figured, if anyone else got one - it would be obvious.

They reported trying to deliver it again this afternoon but again the address was “incorrect”. So I did the obligatory wade through their crappy customer service to verify that no, my address was not something other than labeled and yes, that address does exist.

(They suggested I speak to Meh about changing to a likely more-expensive option. I pointed out that if I was going to make any suggestions, it’d be to use a company that didn’t suck, instead of FedEx.)

@sillyheathen Welp, got the IRK (with a printed-out map with my house highlighted on it ) and it’s the very meh one inksters have been getting: silk screener, bodysuit, adaptors. Definitely not worth the time I had to spend on the phone explaining how deliveries are supposed to work.

@brainmist @djslack talk to TPTB at Meh and see if they’d be able to print a map to attach to future deliveries. Sorta like a bar code.

@phendrick before @brainmist’s story I would have believed that’s technology FedEx already possessed. They have bar codes that hold addresses. And even I can turn an address into a map. So what gives that FedEx can’t?

@Star2236 nope. But the city does a shit job of maintenance, so getting there can be confusing.

@brainmist Have you ever heard of the app “What 3 Words”? what3words is an easy way to identify precise locations. Every 10ft square of Earth has been given a unique combination of three words: a what3words address. I’ve read stories of people being rescued using it while in areas way off main roads and such.
