I’m less Italian leather and more western… The kind of leather with a scar or two from barb wire and stains from sweat and that black dirt that might as well be paint after rain turns it to mud.
None of the options fit but did give me insight into how and why the poll questions are created.
-Style
-Cool but (relates to style but ambiguous )
No Practicality (absolute statements which are very rarely true )
The only response to select without devoting time and thought is Style which subliminally triggers a thought to purchase.
I bought a very real thick animal leather soft briefcase bag from a company called Filson. They tell you what state the leather came from and the company who “tanned” it. Even at a sale price it cost about 10x as much as this one.
The problem is I haven’t been using it because of the aforementioned cost and also it weighs a lot for a “soft” briefcase bag. Truth is, I should be using it, to “break it in” and soften it and start to give it that desirable used look. I’m sure if I used it everyday it would still outlast me.
I don’t dress well enough to be seen with one of these.
I have a Hard case bag with Large wheels & of course a nice handle!

Stylish? No. Quality!
A good leather bag or case will longer than canvas, plastic, and light aluminum one.
My opinion is neutral.

The only place you can go in neutral is downhill…
@macromeh or no where.
Another vote for durability. Good quality leather products will stand up to use/abuse for years (and sometimes generations).
@chienfou Didn’t work out so well for the original owner…
@chienfou @macromeh didn’t help them that they were also tasty.

@accelerator sublimity not a prime feature of this site….
Not for me. I like bags that are well-made and durable, but with a beat-up, scruffy look on the outside. Much less likely to be stolen.
I love a good leather bag, I mean purse.

The upkeep for leather is too inconvenient for me. Bring on the aluminum siding!
