When I have to go to the office, it’s a hell of a commute. I’m going in May and Tirana to Baltimore makes about an 18 hour commute.
Although, it’s optional. But I’ll make a trip of it and visit a friend in Wisconsin and we’re planning a road trip through Michigan.
I mean, I’ve gotten on a plane a few times to head to HQ in Carrollton, TX. But usually, my commute is a few steps, a trip downstairs for coffee, and back to my laptop.
Not existent, because I don’t work anymore
@Cerridwyn Same.
@Cerridwyn This.
Wouldn’t you like to know, weather boy.
As a retired mathist, I’m a non-commutative operator.
@phendrick that made me giggle. Thanks.
Yep, Where is the Retired Box??? Too Jealous to provide it? Muhahahaha. I only put the keys in the Truck when I need or want to… Works for me.
@Man Nice, but you still need a key?
@Mandamm Or too young to think about it…
It’s pretty rough if it’s raining. It’s probably a whole 50 feet from the house.

What commute?
4 stop lights, 2 stop signs, 2.6 miles, 6 to 10 minutes depending on lights. Easy peasey.
@rustyh3
I’d ride my bike

As many, so far, are saying, I’m retired too. But I do have a small part time job, much of it remote, that takes 10 minutes to get to now and then.
@andyw
The ER where I continue to work PRN is about an 8 to 10 minute drive, tops.
22 minutes, or an hour… I hate traffic
No commute. I just have to remember to start my car every few days to keep the battery alive
I don’t work, I’m always home but traffic frustrates the hell out of me bc of it.
Pretty rough. I have to walk down an entire flight of stairs
@tinamarie1974 at least you’re not a sloth
@pakopako aawwwww

@Thumperchick
And I, for one, appreciate your dedication!
Three hours one way today.
Tomorrow’s going to be fun.
And I don’t even have a job.
